DESCRIPTION of the PROGRAM
The iMIND Review Center’s Nursing Enhancement & Review Program aims to provide comprehensive enhancement & review classes of basic nursing concepts and procedures that will be included in the Local Nursing Licensure Examinations.
Our nursing Enhancement & Review Program is comprehensive and reviewee- oriented. All programs are tests based, board exam centered and a sure deal of value for money because of its self-motivated and tailored- fit program which s far different from the usual review programs offered by other review centers. Our program will straightforwardly answer the needs and concerns of the students in their thrust for professional advancements and clinical competence.
This program is intended to College of Nursing students/graduates who will be taking the Nurse Licensure Exam. Its main objective is to provide the students with the necessary knowledge, skills and competence to confidently take the exam. Specifically, this aims to:

- Analyze the relatedness or differences of new learning with previous ones
- Integrate relevant or new concepts to those already learned
- Apply the principles of test taking during actual test situations
- Provide strategies to strengthen students weak areas
- Provide evaluation and accurate assessment of students performance
ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM
PHASE I. THE BASIC CONCEPT PHASE
Description: · The program aims to recall and strengthen the knowledge earned after 4 years of classroom study; · Provide avenues for practical application and in-dept analysis and integration of stored knowledge; · Supply accurate assessment of students’ performance; · Important strategies, efficient and effective presentation, and substantial discussion of core concepts per subject to strengthen weak areas. Learning Content: 1. Traditional and non-traditional and yet dynamic and innovative discussion of basic Nursing Concept and Essential Subject Areas. 2. Post Test will be administered after the discussion/lecture of every subject to assess the learned concepts and to attain mastery of the concepts. 3. Progress evaluation Test (PET-1) will be administered. This will be serve as the 1st Pre Board Examinations. |
PHASE II. THE CRITICAL THINKING PHASE

REVIEW PROGRAM
PHASE III. THE REINFORCEMENT PHASE
Description: · The program is customized and tailored-fit to address the needs of the students to improve in the subjects/topics with low scores. · Refocus students’ study habit on the subject/topics with low scores and enhance the answering skills by avoiding over rationalization of the question and avoiding adding background information to get the correct answer. Learning Content: 1. Intensified discussion/ lecture and system-based test drills and simulated board exam drill across subjects/topics with weak spot. 2. Final pre board examinations will be administered to evaluate students’ performance and to increase the chance of getting higher grades on every test in the actual Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE). |
PHASE IV. INTENSIVE FINAL COACHING PHASE
Description: · The program is designed to address all the domains of teaching and learning (cognitive, psychomotor and effective), assisting the students to use their test taking strategies effectively, giving them a sense of focus and facilitating mind-setting to empower them in passing their nursing exam the easy way. Learning Content: 1. It consists of intensive, innovative and systematic drill of frequently asked questions and concept in the NLE. It gives updates and intelligible forecast of essential topics and resource materials. |

LEARNING EVALUATION
1. iMind’s Assessment and Evaluation Record
Students will take diagnostic exam before attending the Basic Concept Phase to assess the entry level competency of the student. During the entire course of the enhancement/review the students will undergo a series of examination drill. Their scores in the Major and Minor Examinations will be recorded for the purpose of statistical analysis in projecting their probability in passing NLE.

3. Learning Feedback Diary
